"I worked with the church of Christ in Martinez, from July 1978 – 1991, serving as the pulpit minister and also as one of the elders. Resigning from the Martinez church, December 31, 1991, I started working with my brother Larry Deason (January 1, 1992) the president of Life Communications and Jehovah-Jireh. Our mission was to go anywhere in the world that the Lord called us to preach, teach, and to distribute without cost the books that Larry had written and a few that we would write.
This is what I am doing to this day with a more limited schedule since Larry’s death in November of 2008. During the past eighteen years the Lord has lead me to teach in Russia many times, Africa, Slovakia, Guyana, Greece, South Korea, Lithuania, Estonia, New Zealand and various places in the USA.
Since Larry’s death his wife, Helen, and I, continue the ministry that he began. Joanne works with me helping to pack and mail our books. We have mailed our 10 books to 57 foreign countries, and to individuals, churches, Christian Colleges, Universities and Preaching Schools in all 50 states – free of charge with the postage paid. We will continue this ministry for as long as the Lord provides (Jehovah-Jireh). Larry's books are now available for free download, in PDF version. Click here to view the titles.
In February of 2010 I went to Tauranga, New Zealand and taught at the South Pacific Bible College for six weeks. I’ve been asked to speak at the 79th graduation service of Sunset International Bible Institute, May 22, 2010 and preach at both services of the church on Sunday May 23. Kevin Kelly will be one of the approximately 25 students graduating.
My wife and I for the past thirteen years have lived in Lady Lake, central Florida, and are actively involved with the Maricamp Road church of Christ in Ocala. We have three children and six grandchildren.
